President of Pakistan condoles death of Dr. Inayatullah
ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday condoled over death of renowned social scientist, thinker, writer and intellectual Dr. Inayatullah and paid him glowing tributes. In a condolence message the President said Dr. Inayatullah was a genuine democrat who dedicated his life to upholding democratic ideals.
Dr. Inayatullah made painstaking research in the general election held in the country from time to time to highlight how these have often been stolen and the mandate of the people deliberately manipulated, the President said.
His research in exposing various electoral manipulative techniques strengthened the democratic forces seeking election reforms for protecting mandate of the people from manipulation, the President said.
The President also prayed for the soul of Dr. Inayatullah to rest in eternal peace and for courage to the members of bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude
